Abstract
As geometers increasingly adopt probabilistic methods, probabilists are turning their attention to objects with rich geometric structures. This conference, centered on the theme “Random Walks and Geometric Structures”, will bring together specialists from both fields to stimulate new interactions. The program will emphasize two complementary directions: on the one hand, the study of large‑scale properties of negatively curved spaces through random walks and related probabilistic tools; on the other, the use of constructions from negative curvature to analyze the long‑time behavior of Markov chains. The event will feature invited talks and a poster session.
