Abstract
The independent development of domestic industrial software currently faces structural challenges due to foreign control over core technologies. In high-end simulation, computational analysis, and engineering optimization, foreign platforms such as MATLAB, ANSYS, and SAP remain dominant, creating heavy technical dependence on their algorithm ecosystems and solver capabilities. If external supply is restricted, R&D chains in critical sectors like high-end manufacturing and defense equipment would face disruption. MATLAB's powerful numerical and modeling capabilities are difficult to replace quickly, and international policy restrictions have exposed weaknesses in China's fundamental algorithm libraries and HPC platforms. Thus, building an independent, controllable domestic industrial software system with high-performance computing capabilities has become an urgent technical priority.
Developing industrial software depends not only on efficient numerical algorithms—such as adaptive mesh refinement, multigrid methods, domain decomposition, and high-precision time integration—but also on their systematic integration into complex engineering scenarios involving multiphysics coupling, nonlinear response analysis, and large-scale parallel computing.
This conference focuses on "High-Performance Computing and Domestic Industrial Software," aiming to establish an open, innovative multidisciplinary platform that brings together leading Chinese researchers. It will share recent advances in efficient numerical algorithms, developments in domestic industrial software, and practical applications in defense engineering. The goal is to promote cutting-edge exchange and collaborative innovation, support national breakthroughs in key engineering fields, and provide strong support for China's industrial software and high-end manufacturing industries.
