Proposal
We propose a week-long conference:“Dynamics, Teichmuller theory and their related topics”to be held at Tsinghua Sanya International Mathematics Forum (TSIMF), from March 31st to April 4th, 2023.
Teichmuller theory and dynamics, especially complex dynamics, are two highly related fields in modern mathematics. In the last two decades, these two fields have more and more interactions with other fields of mathematics, such as complex analysis, geometry, fractals, number theory and arithmetic geometry etc. This workshop will bring together experts to talk about recent developments in the related fields, discuss further questions of mutual interest, and seek possible new cooperation. More importantly, to encourage young mathematicians to participate more in these communities, we would like to make enough rooms for young scholars, including Postdocs and PhD students, to present their recent works or even work-in-progress. We believe TSIMIF is a perfect location for this purpose.
